Provide technical support to Petroleum Engineers by
creating customized reports, spreadsheets, graphs, and databases. Create
required government reports, including
California Division of Oil and Gas and Federal MMS 3160 production
reports, LA County Oil and Dissolved Gas Production Report, and AGA Statistics
Reports.

Performs
various functions requiring the exercise of independent judgment and analysis
in controlling, maintaining and developing databases, reports, records and
files. Conducts complex investigations requiring the accumulation and analysis
of variable data from all storage fields.

Creates
structural maps for the Storage Engineers relating to the reservoirs at various
fields. Maintains directional well data
and mapping coordinates of the storage field.
·
Maintains
accurate records of oil production and multi-million dollar oil revenue. Ensures that the Company is receiving the correct
revenue and that it is being credited to correct account. Compiles information
on lifting costs and generates graphs of production and lifting costs.

Reviews
raw data from field for accuracy and completeness before incorporating into
various databases and reports; checks calculations for accuracy and reconciles
report data. Reviews well temperature
and pressure survey plots and charts.

Creates
spreadsheets and complex graphs for storage fields including: Inventory Vs.
Field Pressures, Oil Shipped vs Price and Oil Production, Honor Rancho and
Aliso

Canyon Oil Production, Shallow Oil, Storage Oil,
Honor Rancho Recycle, Lifting, Oil Price and Net Revenue.

Provide
work direction for clerical group in the field, on occasion, assists on special
projects.
Contact
Contact with the Division of Oil and Gas, State
Lands Commission, Storage Field Personal, oil purchasers, and other outside
agencies. Must comprehend basic petroleum engineering and oilfield practices
and terminology.
Must be proficient in Excel, Field View, GeoGraphix
Exploration System, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point, Lotus Freelance
Graphics, Government Reporting Programs MMS3160 and California State DOGGER 110
Report, Outlook. Qualified typist.
Strong public contact; effective oral and written communications skills.
Ability to handle multiple activities, projects and deadlines. Associate degree in petroleum technology or
equivalent experience in storage field or oil and gas operations.
Light.
Occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as folders, copy
machine paper, small tools, materials delivered by freight companies, or other
item weighting up to approximately 30 pounds.
Normal office environmental; Occasional trips to
field to conduct audits and receive data.
Personal computer, calculator, copier, fax, and
occasional radio communication equipment.
